We  specialise in growing UK native trees and  native hedging plants from UK sourced seeds or cells at our nursery in the Hertfordshire countryside.


All our  trees are grown above ground in special air pruning root pouches (not bare root) to ensure that they develop a strong  and healthy root structure. This both helps to protect against disease and the trees to develop and grow to their full potential.  


We take biosecurity  seriously with a view to growing  healthy stock and playing our part in protecting native species and the wild life that flourish  in tandem with them. We are APHA registered and inspected and have a EU/UK plant passport (GB 129033).   We are also familiar with and work to British Standard BS 3936 - 1 & 4 Nursery Stock - Specification for Trees et al
